Tips for Petco Park

Where To Park

Stadium parking is at a premium, and can cost as much as $20. Park in the Gaslamp district for as little as $5 and take the public trolley to Petco.

The Extras

The San Diego Padres offer discounts to all military personel, active and retired. Just show your military ID at the box office.

Save Money

Admission to Park at the Park is only $5. Located behind centerfield, you can't see the game, but you can watch on a giant video screen while the kids play in an organized pickup game. You can also watch from designated "standing room" sections throughout the stadium.

Opened in April 2004, the home of Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres is the heart of a rejuvenated downtown.

In Short
Part of Major League Baseball's new generation of stadiums, it looks like a Soutwestern desert sandcastle from the outside, but features countless amenities and state-of-the-art facilities on the inside. More than a half-dozen restaurants offer everything from sushi to sirloin, while countless concession stands circle the stadium's three tiers. Familes will want to visit Park at the Park, which features a kid-size baseball field and organized pick-up games during all Padres home games.
